On Jan 9th and 10th, we had fun but also had a learning experiences. On Jan 9th, 2010, we went to the Verizon Center to see the Wizards practice for their game the next day against the Hornets.While we were at their practice, we got to interview a couple of players and take pictures with them like Randy Foye, Brandon Haywood, Mike Miller, MIke Jones,and the P.R director Brian Sereno.These guys were very impressed with us. When they would answered our questions, some of their answers were funny and some had you thinking. The one statement each of these guys told us was "Good job, keep up the good work fellows".
January 10 was the main event. At 1:00 we were at the game. At the game, we had a blast. We saw the players again and their opponents The Hornets(they all look different on t.v). But we had a good time, we also had god seats in the stadium. We watched the players play against each other. During the game, we were laughing and just being an "intern family." The last couple of seconds the crowd was yelling "defense" to pump up the players, but they were down by five points. The final score was 115-110. After the game we took more pictures with the players.
This event was very exciting for me and im looking forward to the next event.
